HIGH SCHOOL

BOZEMAN HIGH SCHOOL

is the largest high school in the state with close to 2,000 students. Athletic programs include Cross country, football, basketball, volleyball, swimming, wrestling, and soccer. The Hawks are in division AA, the largest division in Montana.  The school in on Main Street between 11th and 15th Ave.


A second high school is currently under construction.

COLLEGES

MONTANA STATE UNIVERSITY

Montana State University (MSU) in Bozeman offers about 60 areas of study for undergraduate students. The university also offers more than 40 master’s programs, including engineering, education and nursing. Montana State University’s research facilities include the Plant Growth Center, with about 30 greenhouses, and the Center for Bison and Wildlife Health. Montana State is also home to the Museum of the Rockies, which has, among other exhibits, an extensive collection of dinosaur fossils. MSU Bozeman also offers many student organizations, Greek life and recreational sports. More serious athletes can try out for the blue-and-gold Montana State Bobcats varsity sports teams, which compete in the NCAA Division I Big Sky Conference.

GALLATIN COLLEGE

Gallatin College MSU is Southwest Montana’s two-year college, offering associate degrees and one-year professional certificates. Gallatin College complements the four-year programs at Montana State University and ensures access to workforce development that promotes a vibrant local economy.

Gallatin College collaborates extensively with area industries to develop new programs and provide responsive training options that meet local workforce needs. One- and two-year workforce programs help students improve their skills and advance their career opportunities, or prepare for a career change.
